I strongly discourage the usage of shortcodes, but if you want to do this, you can also override gallery settings by including the settings directly on the shortcode. So any page that contains a gallery should not be cached. (Unlikely, but still…) Are you using any optimization/caching plugins? But I think we will need to remove support for PHP 5 in the next year or so and then we will upgrade the library as well. However, the insert button doesn’t work. Is there anything printed in the browser console? I just tried it and it works on my site :/ The button should insert a shortcode `[sgdg path="path/to/Test folder"]` * However, I would really like to encourage you to switch to Gutenberg, the classic editor is deprecated somethign like 5 years now and I am not willing to spend much time supporting it.
