    Thank you for the long answer. You said to yourself that it does not make sense:

    – once google did not require a mobile version, now it’s a priority and it will be the same with AMP.

    – plugins slow down the page? Yes, but AMP removes these plugins from the page view, so it’s as if you disable all plugins and use only the mobile version. It goes to zero. Anyone can get an AMP effect without AMP. (mobile version of the site without plugins, it’s the same as AMP)

    – that for the needs of wifi? After all, there is a cache page and cache in the server. Wifi are getting faster and almost everywhere available. That would make more sense 10 – 15 years ago.

    It’s all about making money. Making mobile versions no longer brings profits. Because you have a mobile version with Theme.

    This is the price collusion of the giants to squeeze out money, they will soon be frightened that the side without AMP occupy low positions in the ranking.
