 * I deactivated all the plugins I wasn’t actually using as a start and it seems
   to have remedied all the problems I was having. Looks like soemthing wasn’t playing
   nice. Thanks for the help 🙂

 * Prometheus
 * Thanks for the reply. Before I start the dance (I can’t think I’ve added anything
   new in months) I was trying to connect to the installation from my mobile and
   all I kept getting getting was a 500 error. WHen I looked the error logs it seemed
   like there was insufficient memory. Looking at the processes there seemed to
   be about 12 instances of apache running 2 seconds after a restart. Its a multisite
   installation although traffic is tiny (I mean around 10 visitors a day across
   all sites right now) running on 256mb VPS.
 * With this new info do you have any other advice? Many thanks again.
