  • Hello thanks for starting this support chat. I have a similar problem:
    I now also get the “Error processing checkout. Please try again” message after a purchase, even thought the purchase does to through. This is on any payment option I set (both Stripe or bank transfer payments).

    Purchases worked fine at the begining (no Error message) but after I added a few email address as confimation receiverse, and a download purchase database plugin, it stopped working.
    I removed both of these options to try and diagnose, but it still does present the issue.
    Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed to find out the issue?

    Hi Paulo, thanks for your reply. Yes, you understood perfectly what I was looking for. I will take a look at the plugin you suggest. Hopefully it can take care of text and mixed media. I will let you know how it goes!

    Hi Paulo and BCworkz, thanks for your replies.
    Paulo, rather than having partners edit the pages on wordpress (which might be intimidating to many) what I was thinking of is to provide a userfriendly page(s) where the partners could insert text and pictures, and this content can somehow (as automatically as possible) used to generate their commercial page.

    I guess one way might be to store it somewhere in an organized way and then use it to generate a page. Is there a way to do this even manually? As much automation as possible would eventually be nice, of course we (the site admins) after review would always need to be in the position decide if we want to publish.

    If nothing ready made exists, I guess the first building block would be to find a function that stores the content inserted from the partners. Are there any plugins to fulfill this function?

    Hello, can a Woocommerce guru help me find out if I’m doing something wrong here?

    Is it normal for example that I get different looking pages that the one Shane posted?

    Hi Shane, thanks for your reply.
    I have such a screen option selection possibility on the all products view. What it does is to toggle whether the table with all the products shows categories. (It was on, I tried toggling it on and off but it has no effect on the page edit settings)

    I don’t have a page called edit product that looks like yours, when I want to update a product or create a new one it looks like the one here. It does not have a screen options selection at the top. If I click the three dots I see an option selection that opens a window but here there is no categories choice (see options pictures 1 and picture 2).

    My woocommerce version is Version 3.4.5, and I have the latest version of wordpress.

    Any other hints?

    Hi Takayuki, thanks for your reply.

    The link you posted shows how to edit the email settings (for example replacing the mail-tags), and it also shows how the mail-tags can be modified by the user.

    What I’m trying to do however is to leave the mail-subject tag where it is in the default mail settings (It’s fine where it is), and change myself (the admin) the value in the mail-subject tag, without the user being able to change it himself.

    I hope my request is clear, if it’s not please let me know.

    Thanks ospiotr. That’s very helpful.
    The problem is in fact only happening in the English store page, and that makes sense because I only have the Italian store set up!
    I got confused because I can navigate to the store from the english store front page but apparently I cannot do a search from there.

    Now that I understand what is happening I will think of a way to solve the issue for people entering the store from the english language home page.

    Also, I’m trying to purchase the Pro version but when I Click the purchase button (single Site License), my cart stays empty!

    Hi,

    Please ignore the question above. I managed to test it in the demo and it works. I set the global setting to use shipping weight. And so it works nicely!

    One other question: Is there a way to have weight inventory information be tracked by plug-ins that control the stock, like: ATUM, or WC stock Management, (or anyother you might suggest)?

    Hi,
    Sorry for the previous question I just realized the credential were written in the demo page. (I guess because it’s unusual I completely overlooked it!)

    What I need to do is to manage the stock using the weight of each variant.

    For example: I have 1000g of stock of tea. I have 3 preset variants one of 30g one of 50g and one of 100g. If I sell one 30g plus one 50g the stock should go down by 80g to 920g.

    Is this possible with this plugin?
