 * The permissions for that folder are set to 755 by default. I did not have to 
   change anything.
    The download does not work. It should be working from the WordPress
   Plugin – it does so in my other subdomains. I finally downloaded it from the 
   folder with the download funtion provided by cPanel – use of FTP was not necessary.

 * Set it to download by PHP – still not able to download. Same error message:
    
   Forbidden
 * You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/admin-post.php on this server.
 * Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument
   to handle the request.

 * Hello,
    both options are not good for me – i am not a programmer and can not 
   do such operations. The download should work normally. I have the Plugin installed
   in other subdomains and there the download works without problems.

   the issue seems to be application related, as much as I would like to help you,
   the case does not fall under the standard cases that I am familiar with. Still,
   I would suggest that you check that with a developer who will surely be able 
   to provide further assistance and take care of this issue for you.
