 * Well, I figured it out.
I couldn’t possibly be working in the wrong directory
so I checked what Theme was active in my admin panel. Turns out there was no
theme active, not even the default theme was active. Nothing. Yet my website
was picking up all the theme elements of the one I was working on. So I activated
the theme and all is good. Thanks.

 * I appreciate the link but I have all of that covered.
    I have multiple page templates
in the dir, including the default page.php. Still, no Page Template option.
