 * Спасибо за разжёвывание: у меня был вариант 1Б. Вместо “сервисного ключа доступа”
   в приложении я создавал и пытался использовать ключ из меню управления группой:“
   Работа с API” –> “Создать ключ”. Теперь всё в порядке!
