 * I first removed sweetcaptcha completely and then googled it.
    Turns out the adware
   popup is written in the code by the developers. Sweetcaptcha is already removed
   from the WP repository and Sucuri wrote a blog about it [https://blog.sucuri.net/2015/06/sweetcaptcha-service-used-to-distribute-adware.html](https://blog.sucuri.net/2015/06/sweetcaptcha-service-used-to-distribute-adware.html)
 * Anyway, I’m happy the problem was easily fixed.

 * Hi Roger,
 * I was googling for this since a site I manage also has the exact same problem.

   Is your issue resolved?
 * The only plugin we use in common is sweetcaptcha. I’ll disable that plugin (probaly
   even remove it form server).
    If I come across something else I’ll make a note
   of it here.
 * Kind regards, Linda

 * agreed. useless
    Didn’t know there’s no pro version. In a way hilarious. Anyway,
   on my way to find another plugin that is customizable

 * Yes it sure does need one.
    Tried to incorporate it myself using basic php form
   handling but it seems to be overruled by js
 * For now I’ll go find another plugin that does what I want or is customizable.
