 * you are totally correct.. i am using the Attitude theme and without me tinkering
   it is fine. what is have a a few custom templates where the tabcode is embedded–
   and one template where the content of another page (a list) is pulled in to the
   tab of another page.
 * I am push my luck here but any pointers would be appreciated
