 * Hi [@fostik](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fostik/)
 * Happy 2018.
 * Not having heard from you, we decided to hold off our amended release and look
   into the issue some more and try and recreate the issue you were having with
   the exact plugins you were running.
 * Searching to see if anyone else has had this type of problem before and also
   looking into the WPML related code trying to see what may be causing the errors,
   I really am not convinced the issue is specifically to do with our plugin.
 * The error (looking at you error logs) is specifically generated out of the Composer
   module in WPML. Looking at this link:
 * [https://wpml.org/forums/topic/php-fatal-error-call-to-undefined-method-composerautoloadclassloadersetps/](https://wpml.org/forums/topic/php-fatal-error-call-to-undefined-method-composerautoloadclassloadersetps/)
 * I suspect somewhere else in your configuration another version of Composer is
   being run (our plugin does not use it). It may also be that you were not running
   the very latest versions of the WPML sub-plugins.
 * I have to say these are just stabs in the dark on our part as we have really
   not been able to recreate the issue at this end running our plugin alongside
   Avada theme, the Fusion plugins and WPML.
 * Please let us know how you are getting on.
 * Best regards,
 * Artem

 * Hi Fostik
 * We have a pre-release version that needs testing in the exact environment you
   have … would you like a link to the zip file so you can test and let us know
   the outcome before we release it?
 * Best regards,

 * Hi [@fostik](https://wordpress.org/support/users/fostik/).
 * Thanks for contacting and clarifying so we can track down and fix the problem.
 * We’ll test it out here … in the meantime:
 * (a) Does the error occur if you use the slug instead of the id?
    (b) Are you
   able to provide any excerpts from your server’s error log?
 * Regards,
 * Artem

 * Hi [@lienkhuong](https://wordpress.org/support/users/lienkhuong/).
 * I know we tentatively tested it with WPML and it seemed to work and I know at
   least one other user who runs it with WPML but I’d like us to see if we can resolve
   this for you.
 * The issue might actually be a conflict with another plugin.
 * As a test, would you be able to switch off the other plugins … one at a time …
   then activate our plugin, deactivate it and then reactive the other plugin. Then
   carry on till all your plugins have been tested.
 * Would you mind letting me know how that pans out?
 * Regards,
 * Artem

 * Hi [@balvan64](https://wordpress.org/support/users/balvan64/)
 * In case my earlier response came across in the wrong way, please allow me to
   clarify … we have a great deal of respect for the plugins and themes on the WordPress.
   org repository and their authors who work hard to offer functionality that enriches
   WordPress for its users. This includes the developers of GCB, which provides
   great value to users with 10,000+ active installs and a rating of 4.9+ stars.
   Kudos where it’s due and under no circumstances would we criticise great work.
 * In fact, it’s very likely that if we had discovered GCB ourselves before, we
   may never have developed our plugin and we would have been using it instead.
   Why reinvent the wheel?
 * Bear in mind that we have not used GCB here at all, nor have we studied or assessed
   the code in the plugin and we go ONLY by third party information and information
   on the GCB page ([https://wordpress.org/plugins/global-content-blocks/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/global-content-blocks/)).
 * Regarding security, see [https://www.securify.nl/advisory/SFY20160729/cross-site-request-forgery-in-global-content-blocks-wordpress-plugin.html](https://www.securify.nl/advisory/SFY20160729/cross-site-request-forgery-in-global-content-blocks-wordpress-plugin.html)
   and [https://jetpack.com/features/security/library/global-content-blocks-plugin/](https://jetpack.com/features/security/library/global-content-blocks-plugin/)
 * Regarding functionality, the GCB info page refers to the ability to include blocks
   of PHP code and embedding those in pages … this is not offered by our plugin.
   As mentioned before, our plugin is only designed to be used with text content
   and content generated by the page builders (which in principle are text as opposed
   to PHP code).
 * I hope that I have been of help.
 * Regards,
 * Artem

 * Hi [@balvan64](https://wordpress.org/support/users/balvan64/)
 * Thanks for considering our plugin and thanks for your question.
 * Although we haven’t used GCB here ourselves, my understanding is that in principle,
   it is. We have had other users who have switched to our plugin.
 * However, as you know, GCB had security issues because of some aspects of functionality
   it offered. Our plugin is only designed to be used with text content and content
   generated by the page builders mentioned in the documentation.
 * As regards the question of automating or speeding up the migration, I suspect
   it is doable but, not off-hand not knowing the exact process, I wouldn’t honestly
   be able to give you an accurate answer.
 * I hope that I have been able to answer at least some of your question. If you
   have any issues, or indeed if you find a way of automating the migration, please
   let us know.
 * Regards,
 * Artem

 * Hi [@malcolm12boxes](https://wordpress.org/support/users/malcolm12boxes/).
 * Many thanks for rating our plugin and thanks for the feedback. The plugin has
   actually come a long way since we first launched it about a year ago and it always
   amazes us the ingenious ways users are able to put it to use.
 * Once again, thanks for the positive comments.

 * Hi [@dheil](https://wordpress.org/support/users/dheil/)
 * Many thanks for contacting and suggesting the solution.
 * In actual fact, this looks to be a feature of Visual Composer where shortcodes
   are not run in the RAW HTML (and also the RAW JS) elements.
 * The solution you suggest works. Another way to do it might be to use Visual Composer’s
   shortcode mapper to create new elements that you can add within VC columns.
 * Best regards,
 * Artem

 * Hi.
 * Firstly, not to worry. Your support post is actually much appreciated. Every
   post on the support forum helps us bug-fix and improve our plugin and as the
   authors we actually want to know if it causes problems so we can fix it.
 * On the matter at hand, we’ve just installed and activated ProfileGrid on our
   dev site and there seems to be no issue with the three plugins running together.
 * I’m wondering if this is a permissions/capabilities clash. Not having the exact
   configuration of theme/plugins at this end, we’re having difficulty recreating
   the issue.

 * That’s very odd.
 * We’ve just had an update to WordPress on our dev site and we don’t get that problem.
   We’ve double-checked other websites we work on (as mentioned we use both our
   plugin and Contact Form 7 together extensively) and we don’t get the issue.
 * The only time we’ve seen items disappear from the WordPress admin menu (unrelated
   to this plugin) is when plugins define a custom post type and specify the “menu_position”
   for the post type … incidentally this is a known WordPress issue, which is why
   we don’t do it in our plugin and it’s something that seems to get triggered when
   a certain number of custom post types are added by the various plugins used.
 * My guess is you have another plugin (maybe even your theme) defining a custom
   post type and also specifying “menu_position”, which triggers the issue when
   you activate one of the content block plugins.
 * Are you able to one by one deactivate and then reactivate the other plugins (
   leaving our plugin and Contact Form 7 activated) to see if at any point the menu
   item reappears?
 * If the above does not work, are you able to temporarily switch your theme to
   one of the standard WordPress themes to see if that works? (Some themes define
   their own custom post types … e.g. Portfolio, etc.)

 * Hi [@chochochocosensei](https://wordpress.org/support/users/chochochocosensei/)
 * Many thanks for contacting us.
 * We actually use both Contact Form 7 and our own plugin extensively on numerous
   websites and have never had this problem.
 * Of course we would like to get to the bottom of this so could you confirm which
   versions of WordPress and Contact Form 7 you are using?
 * Also, are you seeing any errors or relevant PHP warnings/errors in your log files
 * Regards,
 * Artem
