 * The only quick and dirty way around this issue is to upload an audio file of
the silence of roughly the duration of your videos. Then the original mp4 audio
plays but the new file is inaudible.

 * Same problem here. This is an absolute showstopper. Very dissapointing.
 * Audio from MP4 is absent (not playing).
 * If you upload an MP3 to add to the video even though the original file has audio
embedded, the audio channel is activated and appears (speaker icon), and BOTH
the video audio and the mp3 play on top of each other. As soon as you remove
the mp3 video is mute again despite having embedded audio.
 * It appears the option to add audio opens the audio channel which is off but overlays
audio that is present in the file.
 * The audio needs to be coded to be present and activated for the mp4 file. It’s
mute and there’s no way to turn it on without adding an audio file, which only
overlays the new audio file out of sync with the original which is only then
   audible.
 * Tried this with both the document audio and element audio. same problem. Please
   fix urgently!!!
 * Upload or link an MP4 with audio > Publish > PLAY the file > No sound or icon
to turn it on!! its not the browser!!!
