You are correct. The Author Pages was not enabled. I enabled it (it now shows the correct articles) and then checked the box to show the Author Bio but the bio is not be displayed like it was on the default wordpress author page. This plugin [https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-youtube-embed/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-youtube-embed/) allows for advanced parameters in the youtube embed.
