 * Thanks for the reply but there is nothing to reset in the permalinks. This was
   a new site and the permalinks were all set at default values. I just could never
   change any of them.
 * I thought it might be a permissions problem but i’ve opened up the permissions
   on the .htaccess file and still no luck.
