Hi there,
I have recently set up my website and noticed that it works for both http and https. I’m tracking the pages on Google Search Console and getting data for both pages.
Do I need to redirect the http pages to https? When I use the http page it comes up as not secure and I’m quite new to this so not sure of the best actions to take.

When I deselect ‘inline and defer CSS’ the site takes even longer to load. With this code above it is quicker but the page appears to load twice, the first time in a flash not as it’s meant to be – hard to describe!

I have tried other sources like https://jonassebastianohlsson.com/criticalpathcssgenerator/ but I’m not having any luck. If this doesn’t work is there something else I can do instead of inlining and deferring?

In the process of building my site but having problems with my page speed including the ‘first contentful paint speed’. To fix this one of the things I used was: https://www.sitelocity.com/critical-path-css-generator and then copied the code into the Autoptomize plugin under ‘Inline and Defer CSS’.
This decreased the time it took the page to load but has resulted in what I think is FOUC (the webpage does not load properly first time it appears). Is there something I can do to get rid of this but not impact the improved page speed?
