It got toggled on here for some reason. Looks like disabling it, again, fixes the issue. I rolled back to 1.7.0 and it seems to be working again. Following this thread, I switched Database Cache from disk to Memcached. Looks like for at least two days now that the box is stable. I downgraded NextGEN to 3.24 yesterday and today I re-updated it to 3.26 to try to replicate the error, and now it seems to be working properly. I didn’t enable/disable any other plugins.
