The sorting works very well. And that, I already knew. What I would need to obtain is, in the caption, see the number of the position of the image in the gallery. * So it would be an equivalent of the “ordered list” 1. in HTML * Example: there are 3 picutes in the gallery (A, B & C) in the order C, A, B with the captions “My Image C”, “My Image A” & “My Image B”. * I would like to see in the caption: “1. My Image C”, “2. My Image A” & “3. My Image B” where the figures are added autmatically (as in the 1. in html) and where, once the order changed, e.g. to A, B, C) the numbering is fixed (so captions = 1. A, 2. B & 3.
