 * Great, that was the clue to the puzzle.
 * I was running the site as a local copy so your servers didnt have access to the
   css file.
 * Uploaded to a live dev environment and its working fine.

 * Thanks, that helped.
 * If anyone else has this problem –
 * First i tried to wrap the entire article, including the content in “print-only”.
   That caused all the custom field to print but not the content. I presume this
   is due to the fact that the plugin already takes the content into account.
 * I therefore wrapped each section in the class print-only. Not including the content.

 * sorry, its only in dev mode on a local machine at the moment.
 * I have however noticed now that if the post has content, then the custom fields
   do not display, but if the post has no content then the custom fields display
   fine!
