 * Hey gradina, I had the same issue and I just solved it.
 * What I did was to deactivate the plugin you have in wordpress (just in case) 
   and insert the google analytics tracking code in the footer, just before </body
   >, after you do that, go back to google analytics, analytics settings, then click
   the edit link button next to the profile and then select Check Status. And you
   have it, it’ll tell you your code was successfully installed.

   the same issue could be looking for answers so I thought I’d post this anyway
