Just installing it and doing nothing else fixed the problem. It turns out that the site was on a server without CURL enabled. I have moved it to new Linux Hosting and now the authorize account works perfectly. Callback URL is entered as site address, Consumer Key and Consumer secret have been copied and pasted without any spaces, all other plugins disabled and I’m getting the error message.
