In reply to: WordPress rocks! – check my flight simulator siteYeah, I am considering this idea about having some personal connection to users. Maybe it sounds too commercial.
Thanks

In reply to: Radio Control Blogsemrocc – I like the site. It has a clean, functional look. Good colors and contrast. Easy navigation.
You might want to show more than 3 articles per page on the blog — I got the feeling that it was a new site with no history until I manually walked back through the archives.
Cool ebay integration. Is that custom?
You might want a “report a problem” category on your contact page. (not that I found one, but it could happen)
AJAX comments would be nice?
Cheers,

In reply to: WordPress rocks! – check my flight simulator siteThanks for the feedback.
I realize that I haven’t done anything aesthetically pleasing, but I would still appreciate feedback about usability and features (I do have a few plugins installed).
The reason for no personal info in the About page is because I’m hoping that this will be a community site (i.e. it’s not about me).

In reply to: Add Videos to Your Blog AutomaticallyI have an untested theory on how you might do this:
1) – find the RSS feed for the videos on youtube that you want to post;
(example: http://youtube.com/ut_rss?type=tag&arg=card%20tricks )
2) – use http://www.rssfwd.com or http://rssforward.net or similar service to forward RSS entries to email;
3) – set the destination email to be the posting address of your WordPress blog (configured under settings->Writing).I think you still will need a step between 2 and 3 to strip out the URL of the video from the RSS XML.
You will likely get a lot of false-positives, and need to manually intervene however.
Good luck — it’s a neat idea.
