I think it might have issues. I haven’t done any testing with WP Super Cache. The end user doesn’t need JAVA. If it doesn’t detect the right version of java (or doesn’t have permission) then it falls back to using PHP Minify. I’m guessing you don’t have Java installed so and its checking each time it needs to re-compile. New files are also generated for different media types (ie. css print) as well as external files. * You can sometimes re-order your enqueue code so that you have the smallest amount of files. If you want to make sure you can delete the /wp-content/mmr folder. * I suggest trying disabling all your plugins and see if the problem persists. If not enable one by one to see what is the cause.
