I had didn’t have the height for the header image in the childs theme functions.php file. Once I corrected this, the featured image automatically changed it custom size to match the header image. How to change the height of the ‘featured image’ in the child theme; OR 2. The height dimensions for the ‘ featured image’ don’t work for my site – it’s not high enough.
