外観 > カスタマイズ > ホームページ設定
で固定ページにして、トップページに表示したい固定ページを割り振れば良いと思います。
表示件数を減らすとアーカイブページの件数も１件になってしまいます。

In reply to: [Lightning] 更新後トップページスライドショーがおかしいご連絡の件、データベース内にスライドショーが未登録時の時にデフォルトのテキストを表示する処理の仕様変更の影響かと思われます。
13.8.5のままでもカスタマイズ画面で一度何か入力して保存した後で削除して再保存だと消えると思います。
あるいは 13.8.7 にアップデートしてください。

And now, Are you want to display “Featured image” in post edit screen aren’t you?
If it so.
I predict this problem is brought by other plugins.Please stop other plugin step by step and check edit panel.
