 * Thanks for your reply, I just happen to enter the URL just as an ordinary visitor
   would (not members) I then clicked on the admin and also the login , this immediately
   took me to the control area where I basically could carry out whatever changes
   I desire to the site.
    I check another blog site clicked on their ..login. it
   took me to the WP login password panel. (mine does not. thanks, kuberzee
