 * Can you post examples of the styles that are being overridden by the other stylesheets?
   You may need to be more specific in the CSS

 * ah ok! Then in the Visual mode you will need to remove those tags manually, or
   you can restore the website back before the updates.

 * I’m not convinced this is a WordPress issue specifically. What are you using
   and setting up the ecommerce?

 * Hi there,
 * The grey links are your navigation menu items, and the blue is the general link
   color.
 * I hope this helps!

 * Sorry, yes I agree that the changes should be done via a custom CSS plugin or
   child theme – I automatically have a child theme in my workflow so I forgot to
   mention that 🙂

 * Can you clarify ” when i click on “link” it’s just doing nothing” – is this in
   the WP post editor or on the front end?

 * Have you tried switching to a default WordPress theme? To rule out a theme conflict.

 * Does the issue resolve if:
 * – the plugins are deactivated.
    – or if you switch to a default WP theme.
 * The next thing I would check is the actual post itself –> Edit Post –> check
   in Visual mode. Are the tags added in this view?

 * Yes, these are the styles that are creating the whitespace – so you would have
   to modify the style.css file. However, I’m not familiar with the theme, so it
   might affect the post/pages. Have you edited the style.css file previously?

 * The inspect element is not a permanent change – it is used for testing and development.

 * You *can* use CSS to hide using display: none; – but I don’t recommend this method.

 * I think for the most part if you are using a child theme, it should be ok to
   update the theme. Depending on the changes made to the parent theme, and what
   changes were made to the child theme, it is possible you *may* have to tweak
   the child theme a little – but not necessarily.
 * Before updating I strongly recommend that you complete a full backup of the website.
