 * I’d really appreciate that.
    BTW the code worked for the content but the Ad(before
   article) remained undersized and I couldn’t find the proper way to target it
   in the CSS.

 * I would’ve preferred real full width option as this current “No sidebars-wide”
   layout creates some width discrepancies as you can see on the screenshot – Ad
   is narrower than f.image then narrower content.
    Given a choice I personally
   would never choose this option as it breaks the structure, and it is content
   that gives structure to border-less designs as well the newspaper feel I believe
   Mission-news is after. It’d nice if you could add a real full width option in
   the some of the future updates.
 * Thanks for the code and have a great weekend.

 * #1 Found it. My Chrome-Settings was set to use large instead of the recommended
   medium font size (me and many people I know do that), so I guess that makes the
   mobile menu appear a bit earlier(before reaching 800px or whatever the CSS is).
   After switching Font Size setting the the pancake is working properly. I wonder
   if there’s a styling solution for that problem?
 * #2 It’s my custom CSS.
 * #3 No luck on this one. It’s the AdBlockPlus in FF not the browser itself. I
   tried http, https, nothing, etc. When I disable AdBlock the icons appear, but
   so many people use AdBlock it might be an issue for some sites relying on social
   media.
 * #4 Solved that. MissionNews puts all pages in top menu even if no menu is set,
   so the links inherit the general/body style. Once a menu is set and assigned
   to secondary it all works as expected. However if one doesn’t want links/menu
   there I guess an empty menu shall be assigned to that location.
 * #5 I believe it was working properly in earlier versions.

 * Those are local installations on my PC.

   > size device(about the size when the menu switches to mobile)”

    It works properly if you switch the
   view from the customizer, but if you manually resize the browser then the menu
   doesn’t appear in medium size. If you squeeze it more to small device size it
   works again
 * 2.
 * > “The Social icons in the mobile menu are overlapping the last menu link.(all
   > browsers)”
 * That might be my custom CSS messing up the mobile menu!
    I can use some hints
   on how to limit the CSS changes only to full browser view?
 * 3.
 * > “In FF AdBlock plus is preventing the the top social icons(links) from appearing.”
 * [Image link](https://imgur.com/oDc6Mxm)Chrome is OK, only in FF. I dont have
   AdBlock+ on IE to test it there.

 * This one I may need to look closer. In one installation it looks good without
   any custom CSS. On the other it doesn’t so I had to style the top menu with custom
   CSS.

 * [Image link](https://imgur.com/3zPTCay)I guess that might be the reason why the
   guy/gall in the next post was complaining about Titles are not in bold as expected.
   It’s only in the customizer view. On both of my installations.

 * It seems in the widget you are using Style2 without the featured image but with
   excerpt. It seems Style2 is meant to work with featured image and no excerpts.
   It displays a small image with title next to it – hence the need for smaller
   font.
    Try switching to Style 2 and it’ll look as you want it.

 * Thanks for the fast reply. The proposed solution works perfectly.
 * A small bug I noticed after the last update is that if you use “Right/Left sidebar–
   wide” layout the Ad-spot before first article does not resize and stays small,
   while the Ad-spot after the first article resizes properly

 * I’ve been having the same issue for years. It’s exactly as described by ToddA
   and Anatis. The MENU section of the CUSTOMIZER **does not save** the changes.

   The issue has been around for years, perhaps since the beginning of the CUSTOMIZER.
   I’ve tried several fresh installations with default WP themes(2013-2017) it never
   worked. I’ve started few treads about the issue in the past – NO solution. I
   just accepted that all my Menu customization will be done using the Appearance
   > Menus. However, after upgrading to WP4.7 and switching to 2017theme… yet, seeing
   the same issue… still unresolved… bothered me again. Hence, I’m here – just to
   find more people having the same issue. Googling the issue will bring you hundreds
   of threads and people complaining about it – I’m yet to find a solution.

 * Just tested this Customizer – Menus bug on a fresh install.
 * > WordPress 4.3.1 running Twenty Fifteen theme
 * Same result as described…! All looks OK in the Customizer window but changes
   do not appear on the site. Once U close the Customizer all is lost… So, it just
   acts like a preview only.
    I guess… we shall label it a WP bug then. I wonder
   if this functionality was ever tested before release.
