Suffice it to say I was a bit concerned about finding a fix. * It was because I had the wildcard entries incorrectly entered. Now that I can see things again, in my Google Analytics it shows under top pages something called “Co.lumb” with an ip of 78.110.60.230 which I blocked in iThemes. If I try to load this page Malwarebytes blocks it in my browser. When I updated iThemes Security after my first full restore, it certainly resulted in the broken themes/images issue. I quickly restored a full backup once again, leaving iThemes deactivated. I proceeded to swap an image on a page and guess what… broken theme again! Finally, I restored to an even older date from last week, activated and updated iThemes Security, swapped that image again and so far so good.
