I think it’s a good idea to show the intro screen after a fresh install to help the user getting started. * Two That one slipped my mind. I did what you suggested, especially clearing all caches, [Hummingbird](https://wordpress.org/plugins/hummingbird-performance/) s as well, and it didn’t solve the problem. Finally I removed Hummingbird and everything is now up and running. Thanks again. We deactivated Hummingbird, Autoptimize and Simple Cache. Cleared cache, optimized database but nothing changed.
