 * Here is the direct URL of the video file that is not verifying:
 * [video src="https://magicmojoproductions.com/ilm/media/video/2023-09-03_feeding_on_the_word.
   mp4" /]
 * The error occurred immediately after I click on the “verify” button next to the
   URL entry box. I have since learned that I can go ahead with publishing the post,
   and that the item appears both on my episode page ([https://immanuellutheranmedia.org/2023-09-03-feeding-on-the-word/](https://immanuellutheranmedia.org/2023-09-03-feeding-on-the-word/))
   and in my RSS feed ([https://immanuellutheranmedia.org/category/video-sermons/feed/](https://immanuellutheranmedia.org/category/video-sermons/feed/)).

 * My hosting provider is Hostgator. I receive the message when I click the “verify”
   button next to the URL box. I did not know I could go forward with publishing
   the post. I will try that now.
 * Update: I went ahead and published the post and it does appear correctly on my
   site and shows up correctly in my RSS.

 * Michelle, thank you for at least replying to my criticism. I have re-activated
   the plugin and have chosen “hide announcements” as you suggested. I’ll see if
   that alleviates the issues for me.
 * Since you seem open to suggestion, I would like to suggest that in future versions,
   you consider another method of educating users of the premium version outside
   of “pop-up bubbles” on the UI.
 * Many other plugins set up a “window” on the main dashboard to inform users of
   the latest developments and premium features. It’s the first thing users see
   when they log in to their UI.
 * I have had Exact Metrics “pop-up bubbles” appear everywhere on my UI – from the
   front page, to post and page composition pages, requiring me to go out of my
   way to close them down do I can see what I am working on… This is too intrusive.
 * Thanks for listening,
    John

 * Microsoft offered me nothing more than they had “fixed” the issue on their end
   with Edge. Perhaps they white-listed my domain or something, I’m not sure. All
   I know is that after they responded to my communication the issue was simply
   resolved.
 * I’m guessing this is something that is dealt with on a domain-by-domain basis.

 * I just wanted to offer an update on this issue. I have been able to successfully
   contact Microsoft over the handling of this plugin via Microsoft Edge and Windows
   Defender SmartScreen, and they have corrected their error. This plugin now works
   fine for me when using Microsoft Edge.

 * Just upgraded our GA plugin to v6.3.4 and I am pleased to report we are successfully
   able to run GA now… YAY!!!
 * Thank you!

 * That might be possible, but the other WP installation (where GA is working fine)
   is also in a sub-directory, and we’re having no problems over there.
 * We’ll definitely try the patch to see if it helps… We miss our GA! 🙂

 * Yes, I discovered the latter error to be the result of another plugin (WordPress
   Automatic Upgrade), which we have since deactivated.
 * Even after all of our efforts, we still cannot access the “settings” portion
   of the GA plugin. GA on our other WP installation on the same server works fine
   after that WP upgrade, however, so I can only assume that something was broken
   during the WP upgrade process specific to this installation. We have even clicked
   on the “reinstall wordpress” button from the update screen to try to fix things,
   but that did no good either.
 * This is the only plugin that seems to be affected by things though…. guess we’re
   just stuck with things…. Maybe it’ll be resolved with the upgrade to the next
   version of WP? Guess we’ll just have to wait & see.
 * Thanks for all the help anyway!

 * OK, I tried something different to try to resolve my original problem by deactivating,
   deleting, then re-installing GA. When I clicked on “activate plugin” from the
   installation screen I go the following, and nothing else on the screen:
 * “You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your
   MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘TYPE=MyISAM’ at line 9
   on line: 1473”
 * Hope that helps

 * When I click on GA settings from within plugin page, I get the following:
 * `0 var job = location.host + location.pathname; var job = job.replace(/ /g, '
   +'); window.location = 'http: //websearch.linksys.com/?eg=' + '1086118760' + '&

 * Yes, both sites are on the same user account. Had successfully copied auth codes
   long ago when we first started using GA.
 * I don’t think I can access the “deauthorise” button that you refer, because I
   can no longer get into GA settings on the broken installation. Clicking on “settings”
   from the plugin page gives me a screen-full of error code, and nothing else.

 * Yes, all sit on the same server, different directories.
