 * Well thanks for the detail, Scott. This shows some level of care. I think your
logs must have failed to track me somehow. I distinctly recall combing through
your conflicts page. I think you should perhaps consider the possibility that
your user tracking code has a bug. I’d be fully willing to give your information
pages another try, but please understand: I don’t need the widget. It’s not that
important to me. I was only trying to help. If Red Sand Media Group could only
accept bug reports from users who aren’t desperate for resolution, this would
not be a problem. I am going through this to help you improve and promote your
   excellent product. -Dan

 * Your logs report what your logs report. You cannot establish their accuracy without
corroborating them with the user’s experience. I visited the required pages several
times and actually read the stuff, but I could find no information on troubleshooting
counter widgets that don’t appear. Perhaps you can prove me wrong by providing
a link to this documentation? Again, I could not submit my bug report because
your site rejected my repeated efforts to do so. Some programs push for bug reports.
I can understand trying to make sure that I read before taking up your time (
seriously), but I think this is going a bit too far.

 * I’m currently checking with my hosting provider on the ‘old password’ status
of my instance of MySQL. If I can verify that my instance is using ‘new passwords’,
I will change all passwords to make sure that they are ‘new’. … Also, before
I upgrade my live server, I might try upgrading a clone on a dev box where I
   can better control the database.

 * Wow, that sure saved me some grief. Thanks.
 * Minor detail: I repaired the problem table rather than the database.
