In reply to: css on custom 404 error pageHi Esmi,
As a forum moderator, are you able to remove my reference to the website in this discussion? I want to ensure that this page is not indexed in any search results. Thank you!

In reply to: footer links redirecting incorrectlySimple error that was overlooked. Double check that your link begins with “http” rather than “www”

In reply to: css on custom 404 error pageHi Esmi,
Thank you for the quick response. I did read the page you recommended and I am still having trouble customizing the actual look. In my custom 404error php file, I do not call the header because I do not want to display those menus. Therefore, the 404 error page is being stripped of all css styling. Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed and make the 404 error page “prettier?”

In reply to: unnecessary padding below contentYes, those are the other pages. It may be working right now because I just set a max-height for the entire site.

In reply to: unnecessary padding below contentThanks again, Ron. Unfortunately, this still adjusts the bottom margin for all pages content. I am trying to just get rid of the white space on the home page. Thank you!

Unfortunately, this adjusts the bottom margin for ALL pages. Is there a way to specify margin for a single page using something like
.page-id-5
Is there a way to specify max-height for a single page? If so, this would solve my problem.
Thank you

In reply to: [Twenty Eleven] On Adding Second Menu to Twenty ElevenGreat! Very simple, thanks @noelhefele. Is there a way to center this on the page? I tried adjusting the CSS, but no luck. The menu bar starts on the left of the page…Thanks!

In reply to: sidebar on individual posts pageThank you for the response. I apologize for asking, but is there any way you can elaborate? I am brand new to the web coding world and this is my first site I’ve built. Do you have any idea what file the incorrectly or missing </div> would be in?
Thanks so much.

In reply to: content background opacityNevermind, I figured it out. I just adjusted the default background color that loads first. Thanks!

In reply to: content background opacity@kharisblank, I’m hoping you may be able to answer another question. Using the rgba colors, I have achieved the exact effect I was hoping for, however, there is a delay when I load the website and a gray shade is in place while the rgba color loads. Do you know if this delay is avoidable?

In reply to: moving sidebar for certain pagesThank you again for the quick response. Since I will be changing the content of the sidebar (and using widgets from the shopp plugin), I think I will create a subdirectory for my storefront. I am very comfortable with html and css, but still fairly new to php functions and more in depth coding, so this seems like to most hassle-free way to go. Thanks so much for your help! 🙂

In reply to: moving sidebar for certain pagesWould it be easier to install wordpress into a subdirectory /shop/, use the same theme from my main site, but just select “content on right.” I will be changing the content of the sidebar as well, so it seems like this may be the better way to go.
Thanks!
