You MUST remove from caching the pages generated by the plugin:
http://your-site.com/user/
http://your-site.com/account/
http://your-site.com/members/
http://your-site.com/register/
http://your-site.com/login/
http://your-site.com/logout/
http://your-site.com/password-reset/You may need to get your web host to help with this. Mine is WP Engine and they took care of it for me.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] background shows, icon does notFor me it turned out to be an issue with the hosting using a CDN. So a script error was generated when files were not on an expected URL.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] background shows, icon does notWas this ever addressed? I have the same issue.
Not even 24 hours and they are on the other side of the world.
OK, thank you< Elvis.
Sorry to trouble you with this!
Kathy
Hi Elvis,
It’s not activated on the staging site because then the admin breaks but it’s version 2.4.0.0 and doesn’t indicate that there is an update.
The live site has it active but is still at version 7.4 of PHP.
I’m wondering if they had the paid version of it or Foo Gallery installed at one point and it expired.
Foo Gallery is at version 2.2.7
Thank you for your prompt attention to this!
KathyHi Elvis,
Here is the error message the host provided me with. I can ask my client if he received an email but he is slow to respond.

In reply to: [Advanced File Manager] WP 5.5 incompatibilityMy apologies. This seems to be the result of another plugin that had an issue and for which an update has been issued.
Your plugin is working fine.
I rolled back the site I had the issue with to a backup that was pre-WP 5.5 so I can’t test this plugin on the post grid block but it’s supposed to help fix issues with plugins that aren’t working with WP 5.5 until the developers can update the plugins.

Seems this issue would be a candidate for this to help since the category drop down is the problem. Maybe a jquery issue?
Hope it helps someone.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Lightbox with PhotoSwipe] swipes multiple images with mouse swipe on macThanks so much for the help, Arno. Much appreciated.
The plugin works great. Adding the Photoswipe script directly is not as simple as many other scripts and I was very happy to find your plugin took care of that for me!

In reply to: [Lightbox with PhotoSwipe] swipes multiple images with mouse swipe on macPS – I have the caption information available by other means if necessary. I just don’t know how to get it into the lightbox just using the link to an image. Is there an attribute I can add to the image link that the plugin can use for the caption?
data-caption= or something like that?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Lightbox with PhotoSwipe] swipes multiple images with mouse swipe on macYou’re very welcome!
I have a new issue. Everything was working fine with captions showing up automatically until I took the site live on the actual domain. Now the captions are not showing up. I checked the settings and they still say to show the caption and get it from the database. As I mentioned I am using a template to link to images.
Here’s the code from my template:
<?php $aimage = wp_get_attachment_image_src( get_post_thumbnail_id( $post->ID ), 'full' ); ?> <a href="<?php echo $aimage[0]; ?>">
The site is now also on https://.
Any help is appreciated.
