 * More because it was moving. It is a preference thing. Rapid motion is eye-catching,
and can cause distraction from something you may want your viewer to read. Slower
   motion is much less distracting.
 * I can see that the original image is much smaller than your resized version.
This upscaling is causing the choppy motion.

 * This site looks incredibly professional. I think the ads on the right side are
affecting load times however. It took a little over 7 seconds to load completely.
 * One thing that stood out was the date in the upper left corner. The grey highlight
doesn’t quite match up with the rest of the theme. I would try to make that match
   the search bar opposite it.
 * Other than that, looks really nice. Like, really really nice. Must have taken
   awhile to build it.

 * I think it looks pretty good. If you want a moving background, look into a cinemagraph.
They’re GIFs that seamlessly loop. In this case, since it is used in the header,
something that moves slower would look better. Also note that using GIFs can
dramatically slow down page load time.
 * In terms of the content, I really like how you laid out the image gallery. Looks
   elegant.

 * I did take a look at that page.
 * I am not in possession of any Apple computer as of right now, but I’m looking
into getting a Macbook Pro. I was moreover wondering, before I had to search
around, whether someone knew one off the top of their head.

 * Yeah, I figured it would be something along those lines. Let me know of you find
   something, I’ll do the same.

 * I got it, I was using text-indent instead of margin. Works now.

 * Another way I can go about the same task in my theme would be to allow placeholder
text in the form fields, if there is a way to do that.

 * Oh, and if you set up a child theme, you can keep your changes in CSS and still
   update the theme.

 * Updating wordpress shouldn’t touch any theme files. If your theme is using any
functionality that was changed between wordpress versions there is the potential
that some unwanted changes may occur on your site, but that is very unlikely.

 * Nevermind, it was the Template Heirarchy. I renamed my blog page template to
   home.php and it works fine.
