 * Found solution for my issue in this thread!
    [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/342965?replies=20](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/342965?replies=20)
   Except in my case my db_version was ‘9872’. Solution is below(thanks Matoo).
 * ——————
    I followed jalmz link : [http://www.clickonf5.org/wordpress/solution-database-upgrade-required/2247](http://www.clickonf5.org/wordpress/solution-database-upgrade-required/2247).
 * My problem was indeed that the Option_Value for the Option_Name db_version was‘
   11548’ instead of ‘12329’ ([http://codex.wordpress.org/Version_2.9](http://codex.wordpress.org/Version_2.9)).
 * I changed it with phpmyadmin, and I recovered my brand new 2.9 wordpress blog.

 * Similar problem here. Deactivated all plugins through phpmyadmin, still didn’t
   help.

 * This is how I fixed this problem of log-in screen popping up. My blog is within
   a protected directory and I have a similar problem with the members section log-
   in prompt popping up.
    Well actually the log-in box still pops up but I only
   have to enter my user/pass once per session. Then all images upload, compared
   to the multiple log-in screens and the uploader crashing. I tried most solutions
   from the boards, disabling plugins, htaccess fixes, screwing with the swfupload
   file which made things worse, non of it worked.
 * *What I did,
    I downgraded from Adobe Flash Player 10 to Flashplayer 9. Uninstall
   Flash Player 10 Link to uninstall program at Adobe site is [here](http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html)
   Download Flash Player 9 [here](http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html) Flash
   Player 9 is a huge file at 198MB since it has every build of version 9. -Ok so
   close all browser windows and whatever else uses flash -Uninstall flash with
   program -Restart computer -Go to flash 9 file, Use the latest 9 build in the
   file “9r246” For Firefox/Chrome to install flash run: flashplayer9r246_win.exe
   For IE run: flashplayer9r246_winax.exe Restart browser, clear your cache and
   try the image uploader. If you get a log-in pop up enter your login info and
   see if the images start uploading. The first image uploaded might be broken,
   just refresh or do a test run. Let me know if this helps

 * Hello again,
    does anyone know if this was fixed in 2.6?

 * Same exact problem as above. Problem persists even after upgrading to a new server.
   I’ve tried the “/includes/cron.php” fix from this thread [http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3742](http://trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3742)
   with no luck. Also looked at the “node” fix but no one provided details for it.
   Just like no details were provided for the wp_security fix above. If anyone can
   provide more info it would be of great help.
