 * After waiting for what seems like 4 hours or so, the plug in seems locked in
   a loop running a chron job for “remaking the index database tables for photos”.
   The cron job will run through the 5000 photos, then the notification for running
   the cron job disappears. Nothing else happens for awhile. I refresh the page
   thinking that the screen needs to be updated, and after I do so sometimes it
   will say it is running a cron job “to remove obsolete entries from index database”,
   or it will be back to running the chron job for “remaking the index database
   tables for photos”. The plugin never moves onto the last scheduled cron job which
   is for “remaking the index database tables for albums”.
 * I see no obvious button to kill the cron jobs to see if that will remove the
   spinning wheel from the front blog page.
 * I have some time to monitor the process now, so I plan to watch the page after
   it finishes “remaking the index database tables for photos” and see if it eventually
   moves to “remaking the index database tables for albums” on it’s own, without
   refreshing the page the way I was doing.
 * EDIT#1:
 * OK. The “remaking the index database tables for photos” finished up. That status
   switched over to “locked”. I then waited for 30 minutes and nothing changes on
   the page. The “remaking index database tables for albums” does not start up,
   even though is says “scheduled cron job”, nor does anything else change.
 * I then just now refreshed the page and the “remaking index tables for photos”
   has changed over to “start as a chron job” which is different behavior from before.
   The “remaking index database tables for albums” is stuck though. It says “cron
   job scheduled” but it is not starting in the 5 minutes or so it is taking me
   to key in this edit. The spinning wheel is still showing up on the front page
   of the blog.
 * As stated before I see no “kill” button for the cron job, nor do I see a “force
   start”. So it appears I am stuck on a cron job for “remaking database tables
   for albums” not doing anything. And I am assuming that is why the spinning wheel
   is still on the front page of the blog.
 * Any suggestions?
 * EDIT#2
    Oh lord. Just for the heck of it I went to WP Super Cache and deleted
   the cache. I then went back to settings for the plugin and the “remaking index
   database tables for photos” has started running again”.
 * I definitely seem to have some kind of problem that is not user error.

 * EDIT #2:
 * Ugh. After the cron job stalled out for 15 minutes or so, I noticed that the
   status button had changed to “crashed”. I clicked it and the job started running
   again. So apparently it is necessary to babysit whatever cron process is going
   on. Otherwise, if it crashes and you do not click the button to continue the
   process, the spinning wheel on the blog will never go away. There are still two
   more cron jobs to go before I can check and see if the spinning wheel disappears.
 * EDIT:
 * I pressed the “do a quick setup” button. I noticed down in section VIII of the
   setup page that there are notifications about “scheduled cron jobs”. They are
   very very very very slow to run. It makes sense that if there are “cron jobs”
   running, whatever they are, and they are not completed, that there would be a
   spinning wheel on the website. I am monitoring the situation to see if when the
   cron jobs are completed, the spinning wheel goes away. The job I am watching
   that is so slow is working through 5000 plus images.

 * ORIGINAL POST:
    “I too have the spinning wheel showing up on the front page of
   the blog with the latest plugin update. The site is running the suffusion theme
   with the WP Super Cache plugin. I cleared the cache as instructed on the plug
   in help page, but the spinning wheel is still showing up.
 * Where are old versions of the plugin located so I can go back to the one that
   was working for me?
 * Thank you for an excellent plug in I have used for years.
