In reply to: [Hover Image] [Plugin: Hover Image] Centering Images on a page fails…Hi!
I currently don’t have a fix for this issue, I’m sorry. I’m collecting Hover Image problems at the moment and I’ll try to release an update soon.
No. Internet explorer can’t be supported because of it’s very outdated technique, I’m sorry.
Hover Image uses CSS3 which is not implemented in IE and JavaScript which mostly doesn’t work in IE.

In reply to: [Hover Image] [Plugin: Hover Image] Alt tagsThanks for the report, lmilesw!
I don’t know when I have time again to develop our plugins again.
We are fully occupied the last few months with lot of native iOS development…But I’ll try to fix this whenever I got a few free minutes 🙂

In reply to: [Hover Image] [Plugin: Hover Image] HyperlinkHey alexis!
From the plugin description:
[…] The first image can be hyperlink […]
This should solve the first problem.
I’m a bit confused about the second problem. I can’t really imagine what that problem could be. Unfortunately you removed Hover Image from the page so I couldn’t take a look at it.
I hope that helps…

In reply to: [Hover Image] [Plugin: Hover Image] Implementing [himage][/himage]outtacontext is right. You have to use the image tag as well.
This is what Hover Image actually does.
It takes two pictures and staples them onto each other.
When you “hover” with your cursor over the one image, it should slightly (depends on your settings) blend to the second one.If it doesn’t, confirm you are NOT using internet explorer.

In reply to: [Hover Image] [Plugin: Hover Image] Internet Explorer BugHello at all!
I’m sorry for the very (!!!) late response.Internet Explorer will not be supported. Unfortunately.
Microsoft often says that IE, in the current version, is one of the best and most modern browsers. But IE implements only very outdated standards.
My plugin uses CSS3, which is quite new but implemented in mostly all modern browsers since at least two or three years.
As you can guess: IE doesn’t.So I’m sorry, but internet explorer would need JavaScript and it’s not very good in interpreting scripts 😉
Nevertheless, you can use Hover Image. I don’t know anybody using IE.
With kind regards

In reply to: [cSlider] cSlider inserting a break above sliderHey!
This could have several reasons.
One could be that one of your next slide is higher than a smaller one.
If the first slide is about 50px high and the second one is about 150px high, the first slide will be valign middle.
I thought of building a setting for this… But I don’t have time for the development ofo this plugin at the moment :((A second reason could be your current theme.
Can you inspect the elements of the cSlider and say what CSS rules apply to it?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [cSlider] [Plugin: cSlider] infiniteLoopHey!
Thanks for the bug report. I double checked the scripts and they are good (on my localhost).
I don’t really know why this error should occur.
But I think it has to do with the core javascript (bxSlider).
So there is nothing I could do…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [cSlider] [Plugin: cSlider] bug in ExplorerWhich version of IE are you using?
IE makes the work very hard to us developers.
This browser just does not work as expected. There is like no way for me to fix issues like this.
The JavaScript engine in IE interpretes the scripts completely wrong, if at all.Nonetheless let me know, which version you are using.
Is there something like a debugger console in IE so that you could paste some detailed information?
Can you look into the source code?
I’d be curious if the problem depends on JS or PHP…Forum: Plugins
