 * I made a new template folder to make my own excerpt template like you suggested,
   but it doesn’t change the excerpt. Any suggestions?

 * That worked. I borrowed the code from another loop, so apparently I don’t really
   know what I’m doing!

 * Excellent! That was a HUGE help. I was able to pull in my title and featured 
   image.
 * Where or how would I define how many posts appear on this page though?
