 * If your menu items were created as Custom Links, you can usually edit the URL
   directly in the menu without removing and recreating the item. That should preserve
   the entire menu structure and save you from rebuilding it.

 * I agree that standardizing an existing solution may be more practical than creating
   a completely new dependency management system. Tools like Mozart and Strauss 
   already address many version-conflict issues. Perhaps the bigger opportunity 
   for WordPress core is to provide clear standards and best practices so plugin
   developers can adopt a consistent approach.

 * I see both sides of this. Confirmations can help prevent mistakes, but when you’re
   repeatedly performing an intentional action, they can become an unnecessary interruption.
   A simple “Don’t show again” checkbox would make the feature much more user-friendly.
