Hi @prodbybuddha – I apologize for any confusion, but the e-signature plugin you’re describing here isn’t actually affiliated with WPForms in any way.
I see that one of this other plugin’s support team members already posted above about their support reaching out to you, so hopefully that helps!
If you have any questions about WPForms, please feel welcome to pass those along here. Hope you have a good one 🙂
Hi Daniel ( @davil2008) – Sorry about that! Here’s the contact form link: https://wpforms.com/contact/
If you click the “Complete a Form” button on the right side of that page, a form will pop right up. Thanks! 🙂
Hi @dcottreau,
I’m sorry this has been such a frustrating experience for you!
It’s very strange that PayPal is adding those extra tax costs on their end, resulting in this error, as this isn’t part of their standard process. PayPal is running on quite a large number of our users’ forms, and I can’t say I’ve seen this issue before.
Now that we know you’ve run into this issue, though, please know our team is adjusting our PayPal doc to add some details that will hopefully help avoid similar issues/confusion for others.
Hi @karloleenhouts,
I’m sorry you ran into issues with this update! Version 2.1.1 added the Action Scheduler library, which adds really valuable flexibility for current and future development. But unfortunately, we’ve seen that some sites run into unexpected issues with setting up the datatables needed to let Action Scheduler work.
From what we’ve been able to see so far, this typically seems to be a result of server configuration issues. We’ve been doing everything we can to sort out what those specific configuration issues are and how to overcome them.
Using everything we know about these issues so far, and how to resolve them, we’ve just published a step by step doc: https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/how-to-troubleshoot-action-scheduler-issues-wp-mail-smtp-2-1-1/. I hope that’s helpful!

In reply to: [File Upload Types by WPForms] Can this be used alone? To add on here… 🙂
In case it’s helpful to mention, WPForms does offer a File Upload field. This is included with any paid license. This is what would allow you to add an upload field to a page or post in your WordPress site.
As Sanjeev mentioned, though, we’ve created this separate File Upload Types plugin to help anyone in the WordPress community (not just WPForms users) more easily expand which file types can be uploaded to their site. So you can optionally add this File Upload Types plugin in addition to a forms plugin, like WPForms.
Thanks so much for the review @nicciwill! I’m really glad our tutorial was helpful, and that this is all up and running for you 🙂
Hi @kindinnervoice,
I definitely agree that’s really odd!
When you have a chance, could you please try to dig up one of those emails from the old contact form and share a screenshot here? This would help us to get some extra context around what you’re seeing.
And in case you don’t have a program/tool to share a screenshot through a URL, you could consider taking the image with a build in tool (“Screenshot” on Mac, or “Snipping Tool” on Windows) and then uploading that image to your WordPress Media Library.
Thanks, and please let us know 🙂
Hi @murodaliyev –
Thanks so much for your kind review!
In case it helps, you can actually change the “Submit” text (as well as the “Sending” text that briefly appears while a form is getting submitted) right in the form builder.
To find this option, you’ll need to open the form builder and then go to Settings > General. These options are about halfway down that screen (here’s a screenshot).
I hope this helps, and thanks again for taking the time to write a review for us 🙂
Hi @rene-rene –
I can definitely understand that being frustrating! It sounds like you accidentally clicked the subscribe button for our page here on WordPress.org, but I can show you how to reverse that!
To unsubscribe from our forum, you’ll need to open up https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/wpforms-lite/ and click the “Unsubscribe from this plugin” button near the top of that page.
In case it helps, here’s a screenshot of what you should see.
This will stop WordPress.org from sending you emails every time someone posts in our forum/posts a review. Instead, you’ll only get an email if someone tags you specifically, or if you check the box that says “Notify me of follow-up replies via email” when you post on a thread.
I hope this helps! 🙂
Hi @nhouher,
Thanks for the review! I’m so glad to hear things are working for you now.
I’m not at all sure what you might have run into the first time around — I can’t say I’ve seen that issue before. But I’m sorry that happened! If by any chance you were able to find out what caused that to happen, or have any ideas of what might have been different on the second try, could you please let me know? That way we could potentially try to replicate the issue and see if there’s something we can improve on our end.
Thanks, and please let me know 🙂
Hi @cbolorinos,
I’m sorry to hear you’re running into issues with emails!
This is, unfortunately, a growing issue all across the internet. In most cases, this is a result of the rise in spam — as spam emails have gotten more common (and more clever in their strategies), email providers like Google, Outlook, etc have ramped up their efforts to block those spam emails from ever touching our inboxes.
But as a side effect, sometimes legitimate emails are getting blocked too (either sent to spam or not delivered at all).
The good news, though, is that there’s a solution: setting up SMTP on your site. An SMTP plugin will authenticate your emails, which helps email providers to understand that they’re legitimate and should get delivered. No matter what forms plugin you decide to use on your site (though of course we hope you’ll stick with ours!), I’d strongly recommend setting this up.
Here’s our tutorial to get started.
If you have questions about any details in that tutorial, please also feel welcome to post in our support forum here on WordPress.org.
I hope this helps, and that you might consider revising your review at some point!
Hi @bobthebuster,
Thank you for the review, and I’m glad that you’re finding out forms so easy to use!
For the checkbox issue you described, it sounds like you might be seeing some sort of conflict between the styles in our forms and the styles in your WordPress theme.
The good news is, we can help to fix styling conflicts! When you have a chance, would you please share the URL where your form is embedded over in our support forum?
From there, we’ll be able to take a look and hopefully put together a solution for you. Thanks! 🙂
Hi @golali,
I’m sorry for any frustration here!
We’ve worked hard to make sure our free version included everything needed to create simple contact forms for your site. And so while you can get more advanced features through one of our paid licenses, anyone just needing basic forms can use our free version for as long as they like, and to create as many forms/collect as many submissions as they’d like.
If you decide at any point to give our forms another shot, please know that we’re happy to help if things don’t seem to be working correctly for you! We have a forum right here on WordPress.org where we provide limited complimentary support to all of our free version users.
Hi @manuxx34,
I’m sorry for any frustration with this!
In order for Google Analytics to work, a site owner has to first set up events tracking in their Google Analytics account — and so unfortunately the process is quite a bit more involved.
In addition to that, though, Google Analytics is really tough for most people to use. Our goal is to remove those kinds of technical barriers for our users. And so we recommend MonsterInsights (our sister plugin) because it leverages that power of Google Analytics and makes it tons easier to use. Or you can completely skip Google Analytics and just use MonsterInsights’ own tracking tools.
In case it helps, here’s a post about deciding whether MonsterInsights is worth using on your site.
I hope these details are helpful, and that you might consider giving our forms another shot down the road!
Hi @vicowilliams,
I’m sorry for the trouble here!
We had recently included a background processing library in the plugin. However, some WooCommerce addons had included older version of that library, and this causes a conflict.
We’re working on a broader solution, but in the meantime it should be possible to resolve this with the following steps:
1. In the WordPress admin area, open
/wp-admin/options.php
for your site (you’ll need to type this into the browser bar for your site, iehttps://yoursite.com/wp-admin/options.php
).2. On this page find these options:
schema-ActionScheduler_LoggerSchema
schema-ActionScheduler_StoreSchema
action_scheduler_migration_status
For each of those, remove their values (leave their fields empty). At the bottom of this page, be sure to save changes.
3. Check to see if this issue is resolved.
If you give this a try, could you please let me know how it goes? Thanks!
