 * By media.php are you referring to the wordpress wp-admin? If so there doesn’t
   seem to be any code relating to your fix.
 * Had a search through the PHP within Simple Image Sizes and cannot find any relevant
   code.

 * I am having a similar issue, however none of the buttons on the media settings
   page no longer work.
