My first couple months I averaged less than $20/month in donations. Creating a paid version of this and other plugins allowed us to eventually dedicate full-time support to developing and maintaining a suite of tools that are used (for FREE) on literally hundreds of thousands of websites. * THOUSANDS of hours have gone into development, maintenance, and support to keep this plugin running for nearly a decade. Without the paid version, this wouldn’t have been maintained this long. Imagine what would happen to your site if you installed an 8 year old plugin that hadn’t been maintained. It wouldn’t be good… * I’d like to ask you to reconsider your review. Ewout is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. His dedication to offering a high quality product while minimizing the financial burden to customers is literally unmatched. In all my years working in web software I’ve never met anyone less greedy than Ewout. We missed a couple of backwards compatibility issues here, which is where you’re seeing that.
