After having a simple hunch (the second I posted above), I disabled the Backupify plugin that I added about the same time I updated WordPress. The bridge works entirely through the SMF API that is available, but I’m not sure how well it works with 2.x. I’ll have to dig into that one sometime this week. * I will, however, take a look into the issues with 1.1 right away. I plan on making at least a bi-weekly if not weekly release of the plugin until things get straightened out perfectly. If you wish to contribute, the Google Code page is the best place for you do do so. * I greatly appreciate the help and even if you wanted to complain – I’d understand perfectly. * macmend: I would also like to know what version of SMF and what version of WordPress you are using. I’m not too sure of compatibility with older versions of WordPress, nor am I too sure of the beta versions of SMF. Any additional information you can provide, the better. It has some MAJOR corrections. Please do note, however, that the plugin description has a typo – the version of SMF should read 1.1 not 2.1. I’ve been in the process recently of migrating all of my projects off the old repositories (that used to reside on a dedicated server I no longer rent) and putting them into Google code. I’ve had a lot of people ask me about this plugin, and now that I see how popular it is, I am resurrecting it. I would like to apologize about the milestone for November 7th, that had to be postponed after I injured my right hand (some major muscle and ligament damage the doc tells me). My site uses 2.0 RC1, so that was what the plugin was designed around. I have not tested it with 1.1.x, so I cannot comment on how well it works. * On a side note, I should have a new version of this plugin available later this month.
