 * [@01luntu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/01luntu/) well it appears to be
   fixed in 3.1.50. But you’re correct. Something like this should not have to wait
   for the next full release. I’m convinced more than ever that they just don’t
   understand what customer service is all about.

 * [@01luntu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/01luntu/) Their support is bordering
   on appalling. I don’t think they’ve ever heard of Agile, and they obviously don’t
   properly test their releases before making them public. If they concentrated
   on single issues, fully tested the solution, and produced smaller and more frequent
   tested releases they’d do far better. As it is I suspect we’re waiting on the
   next full release, whenever that will be.

 * @[joncon62](https://wordpress.org/support/users/joncon62/) That was a most useful
   video. The thing omitted from your original post was the fact that you were creating
   events from the front end in the event dashboard. I’ve been testing this by creating
   events from the backend. And from there everything works as it should. If you
   test this from the back end I’m sure you’ll get the same results as myself. I’ve
   never used the event dashboard as I basically don’t trust other people to create
   eye catching and well formatted events. However, you obviously have a need for
   this and therefore this _does_ need to be fixed. The issue is in a core file
   so I hope the promised fix _is_ in the promised forthcoming update.

 * @[joncon62](https://wordpress.org/support/users/joncon62/) Yes I followed your
   instructions to the letter, and I can’t reproduce this issue. I also have several
   installations of the event manager and I can’t reproduce this on any of them.
   I even created a free temporary site on tastewp.com, installed event manager,
   and tried again. It all worked just fine.

 * @[joncon62](https://wordpress.org/support/users/joncon62/) I’m using version
   3.1.49 as well. I’ve just created a new event with text formatting and a list,
   and it’s displaying just fine. So I don’t think your issue is with WP Event Manager.
   You may have some file corruption if this worked ok in a previous version. In
   which case I’d suggest you download 3.1.49 to your local machine and extract
   it. Then ftp the extracted files to the WP Event Manager plugin folder. This
   should overwrite any corrupted files and resolve any file corruption that may
   have taken place when you upgraded from 3.1.48.

 * [@qriouslad](https://wordpress.org/support/users/qriouslad/) thanks for your
   prompt update. Despite the warning the image appears to have uploaded just fine
   and there are no issues with using the image in any way. I’ve tested your update
   using the same image and there are no longer any warnings. So that looks like
   a result to me.
   Thank you.

   It’s
   fixed in ver 3.1.35 referenced above. Unfortunately there are still other issues
   in that version so it hasn’t been released publicly yet.

 * Hi Priya,
   Thanks for this. I see that the field editor is fixed in this version.
   However, One of the issues in ver 3.1.34 was that the **Listing Expiry Date**
   is no longer being auto completed from the End Date, (as it was in ver 3.1.33),
   whenever you post a new event. This issue is still apparent in ver 3.1.35, and
   thus is still not a viable option for me. I also note that the plugin still shows
   as ver 3.1.34 in my list of installed plugins, even though it’s supposed to be
   ver 3.1.35.
 * Regards,

 * Hi Rohit,
   I checked your link and the video and audio are out of sync, just like
   I found.So I tried it on another device and it played perfectly. This means that
   the issue is with my laptop. I’m not sure what the issue could be but I’m sure
   there’ll be a solution somewhere on the internet.Thanks for your help.

 * At best, your example is very poor. How are you supposed to tell if the audio
   and video are out of sync with a video of a waterfall? You need a video of someone
   talking to test this out realistically.
   I’ve tried other videos and the same
   thing happens. I can’t give you a link to demonstrate this problem because we’ve
   had to abandon the idea of using a popup due to this issue.

 * I didn’t work straight out of the box for me either. it looks as though the plugin
   is supposed to add section settings automatically but it doesn’t for some reason.
 * But I found the fix to be very simple. After you’ve added the popupID on the
   popup tab of the section, go to the Advanced tab of the section. Add the same
   popupID as the CSS ID. Then make the CSS Class ‘popup’ (_without quotes_). Save
   the section and the page and it works a treat.

 * I have the same issue. I was hoping to demo the free version with a view to getting
   the client to upgrade to the premium version. No chance of that under these circumstances.

 * Looks like it’s time to abandon this plugin. It dowsn’t seem to be getting any
   support!
