 * The problem turned out to be the missing newsletter page,
    it had been set ok
   before but the plugin wasn’t pointing there now.
 * Saved the setting again and all ok

 * turns out you don’t need the shortcode on the download page if you’ve specified
   it in settings/file browser/post id (maybe this should be added to the text in
   settings to avoid the issue)

 * I think the correct usage is [galleryview id=1]
    but I’ve ran into a problem 
   where my site reports ‘out of memory’ while displaying a gallery this way.
 * The only way out was to manually delete the galleryview plugin folder via ftp.

 * I’m seeing the same issue, wordpress reports the server version, not the client.
 * Also, all my plugins suddenly deactivated with a message about invalid headers
   after I changed to PHP5 and I can no longer upload new ones to the wp-content
   folder (it worked ok yesterday!)
    It looks like all plugins are now being sent
   to the /wp-content/update folder too.
