In reply to: [Gutenberg] V11.8.0 color issuesHi @paaljoachim
Extra information
On a demo website, I don’t have issue, paragraph are in column, column are directly in page.On prod website, on which I improved design, I included block column wich contains block paragraph in a black banner. Those are having issues.
I guess issue is with banner
My default color for text is white, but this color is not applied in paragraph which are in column which are in banner, that’s why I had to apply color manually.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gutenberg] V11.8.0 color issuesHi paaljoachim
I don’t think so
Opacity is ok ; I am able to set opacity and after update to V11.8.0, opacity was still rightly set up.
Color was unselected
After selection of color and save, banner was back to normal
Except that after saving color of paragraph was black instead of white ;white was selected before update V11.8.0, in admin preview was white and color of paragraph was also ok before saving page; like color is still registered but does not show in admin so when saving the unselected color become new color what lead to the modification of color.Hope I manage to make things clear

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Version 11.8.0 impact WC email languageHi
I kept on searching because I agree that there is no relation
I might have found a clue ; when updating plugin, language file update also, maybe when updating Gutenberg, a language file from WC has been updated and this file might have missing strings.
I will contact Woocommerce
Thanks for your answerJohan
Birchpress semble avoir arrete le support et mise a jour du plugin.
Cela fait des mois qu’ils ne repondent plus aux emails et support sur le forum de leur site.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Best editorHi @courtneypk
After having a thought 2 new blocks would be helpful in Gutenberg
TABS
Options to choose color of border, background color of active tab, background color inactive tabs, tabs vertical or horizontalSLIDER
Options to choose number of slides, design of pagination from one slide to an other (bullet, dash, color etc…), navigation arrow (dislpay or not, color), automatic or manual slide, if automatic speed
Slide could have only one image (like gallery but in slide insted of columns) or heading, text, button, colum included (like cover)Do you think there is a chance to see those blocks added in future ?
Thanks
Johan

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Images not resizingThanks @mamaduka
So it confirms my earlier testing (details before your first post on this thread)
Image resizing is related to image alignment
Besides, as you mentionned TwentyTwenty One, we might also have difference depending on themeForum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gutenberg] Images not resizingHi @mamaduka
In the back image size set to 1024 x 576
Screenshot https://ibb.co/k8cW9pT
On the front image has rendered size 610 x 343.13
Screenshot https://ibb.co/6F4DG8B
But in the code width and height are same than in the back

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Cover default heading colorHi @paaljoachim
I have tested again with WP 5.8, Gutenberg 11.1.0, Twenty Twenty one theme
A color set for heading in custom css, I made example with h1
Heading H1 in COVER do not take the color set in custom css on the front but it does show the color in the back
I duplicate h1, drag and drop out of cover, color is applied on the front and in the backSame happen for color set by default in theme when I switched to my theme

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Images not resizingHi @paaljoachim , @kaylag423
I have a staging website on which I have made more testing
I updated WP 5.8, Gutenberg 11.1.0 and switch to twenty twenty one theme
Issue is still, image does not resize when changing percentage
Somehow, I managed to make it work setting an alignment
Screenshot https://ibb.co/8z37BtYBy default, image does not have any alignment, after changing alignment, percentage works.
Percentage resize seems to be related to image alignment
Example
1 – Alignment set to “Large width”, image is original size without any percentage
Screenshot https://ibb.co/9yVcPrw
2 – Alignment set to “center” , it does not display as original size as mentioned in sidebar on the right, it seems to have a maximum size to display on the front.
Percentage works but width and height displayed in sidebar in the back are not correct comparing to what display on the front
There is also a preview issue in the back, image is out of the frame and does begind the sidebar
BACK https://ibb.co/m89XmRG
FRONT https://ibb.co/vVgbrm83 – I changed alignment to right, I do not have acces to option bar of image.
If I have my theme enabled, I can see the option bar but cannot acces fully
Screenshot https://ibb.co/x55jGvcMy guess is that percentage is related to alignment and that it seems to have display bugs between what we see in the back and what is on the front but playing with alignment we can managed to resize images.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Images not resizingHi @paaljoachim
I have done more testing, please find below screenshots
I have WP 5.7.2I deactivated Gutenberg and switch theme to twenty twenty one
I have placed HEADING H1 over image to have an idea of place it takes on the front, the image does not seem to be 1920 x 1080 on the front
TEST 1 – picture 100%
BACK (picture 1920×1080) https://ibb.co/m6sT17g
FRONT (picture 1920×1080) https://ibb.co/BzpryWqTEST 2 – picture 25%
BACK (picture 480×270) https://ibb.co/4NrGyfb
FRONT (picture 480×270) https://ibb.co/LtGXpyTThere is not much difference on the front between 100% and 25%, difference is closer to what it should be on the back
WP 5.8 release is tomorrow, I will update it and check if issue is still

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Cover default heading colorHi @paaljoachim
I do have a staging website to make testing
I just did a test switching to Twenty Twenty one, I met the same issue.I don’t find a way in Twenty Twenty one to set default color for headings so I set it in custom css
The heading H1 (SOINS ESTHETIQUES) is still white
Screenshot https://ibb.co/C0hxyN0I duplicated this heading and drag and drop out of cover. Default color applied on H1
Screenshot https://ibb.co/4McksPnHere is screenshot with my theme, you can see that color by default is applied in preview in back but do not apply on the front
BACK https://ibb.co/m0tTzvM
FRONT https://ibb.co/1zZfVyjTesting you did seems to have applied color manually on heading, this indeed works, my issue concerns default color.
I guess there is an issue on headings to take default color (set in template or set in custom css) when heading are in a cover
