Benutze wordpress 5.7.1.
Installation UAM 2.2.13 verlief nicht erfolgreich.
Neuinstallation scheiterte mit der Meldung, das Verzeichnis sei schon vorhanden.UAM wurde danach im Plugin Verzeichnis nicht mehr gelistet.
Alle Dokumente, welche einer Zugangsbeschränkung unterliegen, sind über die Website nicht mehr abrufbar. Kehre zur zu einem früheren backup zurück.Hi phbernard. Thank‘s for the quick feedback
The uploads directory is where the files of the WordPress library are stored. Unfortunelty, the directory is not protected by default. A person who wants to see all the library could list it instantly going to: http://yourwebsite/wp-content/uploads. I wanted to avoid this.
1. for security reasons
2. a password protected user hierarchy was needed for our club

. board members (stratey papers, financials, etc.)
Other than public, each users gets access rights, which may include more than one option.Upload of content with UAM is as usual, unless media need protection.
Then access rights are attached clicking Nr. 2 options accordingly.The widget Login with Ajax 3.1.6 delivers the entered user name and password for UAM.
I assume this will open a virtual path to the protected physical subfolders of wp-content.

I have no scripting knowledge. A direct contact to the UAM programmer may shed some more light on this issue.
