I’m currently travelling and there is not much of a decent internet connection around. About this issue. I noticed that creating new links now seem to work properly. Still the same result. I see in the source code that the target var is in the link but the destination is cut off somehow. On the edit link tab the target is set to default (open in new tab). But then still it opens in the same tab. * I tried to override the default target and to set it to open in new tab manually but gives the same result. I don’t use a lot of other plugins, but I will give it a try to disable them and see what happens. Adding links works like a charm. * 2. No, I am not using shortcodes. I didn’t place the code in the themes functions.php but in an other attached script for metaboxes. I checked it out but unfortunately it isn’t going to work that way. I hoped there was some kind of shortcode to check the logged in user for it’s specific username.
