 * One other thing. Along with the upgrade to 3.5 there was 10-fold increase in 
   Askimet hits. Has anyone else noticed this?

 * No, it was an upgrade. So, disable plug-ins one and then the the theme until 
   it stops, eh? Thanks. Should have started there.

 * WP Google Analytics seems to have been the culprit (although I also had to go
   back to the default theme). Thanks. I will be more careful in the future.
