 * With Jetpack 2 this problem remains: the count of subscribers never increases
   as each new follower joins. Hopefully this will be sorted at some stage, but 
   at the minute I’ve selected the option to hide the number of subscribers because
   this is so much lower than the reality.
    p.s. This has nothing to do with numbers
   of twitter or facebook followers for me – the count simply never increases.

 * Thank you so much! It worked!
    (For my host the public folder is named HTDOCS,
   but that is where Filezilla put me anyway when I logged in.) Though simple to
   fix when I knew how, I wouldn’t have got here easily (if at all?) without the
   help. Now to customise the look of my blog a bit… Thanks again Best wishes John
