But if I disable your plugin and upload the image to gallery, there is no visible compression (or image quality degradation). This is happening only if I turn your plugin and use the resize image function. Couldn’t the authors of the Yoast plugin at least release some hotfix? Yes, I mean that plugin you linked above 🙂 yes, it is strange. I’ve tested this right now, but when I create new article with new gallery and insert same images here (with original caption), and change the caption in this new gallery, original caption from the first gallery got the new caption too 🙁 (not using Guttenberg, but Classic editor).
